6% UVB for the synthesis of vitamin D3.This is an essential part of keeping reptiles, and without D3 UV and calcium, your reptile can develop problems like Metabolic Bone Disease.

For best results use with a T5 luminaire or Electronic Controller and replace after one year of normal use.
This lamp will only operate when used with equipment containing an appropriate T5 electronic ballast.
