Fruitfly Culture from Peregrine

Flightless fruit flies are an ideal livefood for small amphibians and reptiles.
They are particularly recommended for poison arrow frogs, small day geckos, small newts, salamanders and hatchling chameleons.

The flies are a species called Drosophila which have been bred to be flightless.
The flies live around a month and are provided in a self-contained tub which needs no maintenace apart from being kept in a cool place.
