The patented filter medium can form biofilms -i.e. bacterial layers with a certain depth -that have oxygen-containing and oxygen-free zones.
100g of FilterAction Nitrate Remover additionally removes up to 30 g of nitrate and contributes to a better quality of water in the long term.

Water does not need to be changed as often, which reduces stress for the aquarium inhabitants.
FilterAction Nitrate Remover also increases the carbonate hardness of the water.
