Gladiolus Callianthus (Acidanthera) var. murieliae has a white flower with a purple centre and is fragrant. It is bee friendly. They are suitable to be planted in borders and as cut flowers.Dual planting is recommended; one for the garden and one for cut flowers.
For the best effect, plant in clusters of 5 or more. Gladiolo need water during the growing period and mulching with compost helps conserve moisture.Plant these bulbs 4 inches deep and 4 inches apart.Designed to be planted from March onwards and they flower between August/September. The flowering height up to 75cm in height.
